ActionScript 3.0 is a powerful, object-oriented programming language that signifies an important step in the evolution of the capabilities of the Flash Player runtime. The motivation driving ActionScript 3.0 is to create a language ideally suited for rapidly building rich Internet applications, which have become an essential part of the web experience.

Earlier versions of ActionScript offered the power and flexibility required for creating truly engaging online experiences. Requirements

It is important to be able to understand coding languages. Prior knowledge of either HTML or Javascript can simplify the learning process. Best would be to have already took our Action Script 3.0 for beginners [B-AS-104] Level 1

3 Utility classes (2 hours)

3.1 Dates and Times

4 Communication Between Flash and the Browser

5 Network (3 hours)

5.1 Saving and Loading data and assets
5.2 Streams and Sockets
5.3 Security

6. Sound, Video and Camera

7 Printing, Accessibility, Clipboard and other utilities
8 ActionScript Libraries for AIR applications

Duration

3 days, 8 hours per day, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (including lunch break)
or
6 evening sessions of 3 hours, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

The cost of this course is $ 1,200 net. Discounts are applied starting from groups of 4 persons and more.

*The course duration will be shorten to 2 days or 4 evening sessions only, when a class has 3 or less than 3 students.
