Stefano Virgilli Adobe Certified Instructor Expert Video Specialist User Group ManagerStefano Virgilli - Owner of Lab School

Stefano has an Italian degree in communication design and moved to Singapore 3 and a half years ago. Since 2003 he has been teaching mostly 2D graphic design and photography post production. Later on, he further specialized in video editing, 2D and 2.5D animation.

Besides the solid background in training, he also owned an advertisement agency in Italy, from 2004 to 2007, and Ultimate Video Fx as well as VOX in Singapore since 2008. That placed him in the position of combining theory to practical work experience.

Stefano have been certified competent in the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) Trainer®, Assessor® and Developer® Facilitated Learning.

Andrii OlefirenkoAndrii Olefirenko

Andrii got a Master's degree in Computer Science in Ukraine. He's been working as a software engineer from 2001 and particularly as Adobe Flex Developer from 2007. He's been staying in Singapore for about 2 years. Apart from enterprise web development, he loves to experiment with 3D (animation, Papervison3D, Maya) and 2D (digital photography and video effects).

Alex GohAlex Goh

Alex started out as a technology consultant at Accenture after obtaining a Bachelor degree in Computer Science in the UK. Over the past two years, his passion to create and innovate led him out of the corporate life to start his own startup. He have built several rich internet applications using Adobe Flex. In addition to web development work, he also act as a technical trainer, helping people to learn Flex and Actionscript, and coaches teams on best practices.

Arul PrasadArul Prasad

Arul Prasad is a software developer, primarily architecting and building software based on the Flash platform. Over the past six years, he has designed and built software ranging from e-learning courseware content, to micro-sites, to large scale rich internet applications. He was also part of the Flash engineering team at Macromedia, and contributed to the Flash 8 authoring team.

All through his professional career, Arul has had the privilege of evangelizing and mentoring co-workers and the developer community in general about Flash platform based technologies. He's also actively involved with the Singapore Flex User Group, and writes his flash platform related musings at http://arulprasad.blogspot.com

Lionel LowLionel Low

Lionel Low is an Interactive Developer at TBWA \ TEQUILA Asia Pacific. At TEQUILA Lionel delivers compelling solutions for both Flash and HTML platforms through the use of the latest technology frameworks. Winner of both international and national awards, he is always on the edge of technology by experimenting with all that the Adobe Flash Platform has to offer. Alvin ZhangAlvin Zhang

Alvin is passionate about RIA, the web, making stuff move and user interfaces. His other interests are photography and film and he has an attraction to everything Japanese though he can't speak the language. Alvin is currently working with Interactive on several projects and had taught Flash at several other local training schools in the past. Alvin is also an Adobe Certified Instructor on Photoshop, Acrobat and Flash.

Aaron LeungAaron Leung

Despite having had a taste of photography when he was studying graphic design in Hong Kong back in the 1980s and acquired his first SLR by the end of the decade, Aaron only started to take this hobby seriously in 2001 after he was introduced to nature photography.

During the years when he was a committee member of the Nature Photographic Society (Singapore), he conducted classes on macro photography, colour management and basic Photoshop techniques. He also ran photography workshops, led guided outings, etc. In 2003 he was awarded APSS by the Photographic Society of Singapore.

Although Aaron has never made photography his career, his works found their ways to different publications, including “To Singapore with Love” published in 2005. Some have also been exhibited in various locations, e.g. epSITE, Singapore Zoo, Botanic Gardens, etc.

After focusing on nature photography for more than 5 years, he has recently shifted his attention to travel photography during holidays.

Hu ShunjieHo Shunjie

Shunjie is a Flex developer with the passion to spread the Flex goodness all over the world. He is constantly racking his brains for new ideas to bring the Flex and RIA movement forward, as well as networking the local community.

While not programming, he will be taking photos and currently trying to enter the realm of videos too. Shunjie blogs at ExpertRIA.com. He is currently employed by Seesmic.

Shunjie is also Adobe User Group Manager of FUG (Flex User Group)

Eric AlexandreEric Alexandre

Eric's primary artistic goal has always been to achieve a level of expression with visual imagery that would communicate everything that could be communicated, and in the process, discover and master the medium that would do just that.

Hailing from a fashion photography background, having spent 6 years in Paris, assisting fashion photographers, Eric's first assignments in New York were with modeling agencies Elite, Wilhemina, Karin, IMG, Company, Boss, etc.

His visual style won him the 1997 TIMMY Awards for "Best Photographer" in New York. It was during this period in the mid to late 1990ís that Eric began to experiment extensively with film and video media. He shot and directed his first music video, "Strawberry Rose", on 35mm film for the "Le Bain Douche/Queen" Parisian singing sensation, Bamboo. Immediately after, he broke into the video fashion world when he was hired by The Fashion Association in 1996-1997 to direct and shoot the Menís and Womenís Spring/Fall Collections. A string of fashion show videos followed which included shows from BCBG, Amer Kamal, Epperson etc.

Robert CristobalRobert Cristobal

Widely known from his peers as Obhet, he began designing while finishing up a bachelor’s degree in Engineering back in the Philippines. From then on he embarked as a self-taught multimedia designer and began to work freelance on most of his professional career.

His first job was a trainer for computer graphics and animation where he was awarded Instructor of the Year on his first semester of teaching. After his students graduated, he transferred to Manila to hone his creative skills and has lived in Singapore for the past 3 years.

His style covers a concoction of photography for digital arts, surreal illustrations and abstract shapes. You can find his digital playground in www.obhetcristobal.com. He was recently featured in CulturePush.com and has some of his works selected in Noise Singapore.

Lynus HeeLynus Hee

Apart from a sense of humour, Lynus also has a degree (with distinction) in Film & TV with a major in broadcast design. He is also a member of the invitation only "Golden Key International Honour Society for his achievements in the area of motion graphics. Lynus currently lecturers in Singapore Polytechnic School of Digital Media & Infocomm Technology and is an Adobe Video Specialist and an Adobe Certified Instructor in Adobe After Effects©, Adobe Photoshop©, Adobe Premiere© and Adobe Encore©.

Airik NgAirik Ng

Airik has 15 years solid experience as a storyboard artist, working along side on story boarding directions with international directors on films, documentaries and TV commercials. In 2005 he left for London and worked on multi-awards winning short film "Kallah" and the latest local documentary production "Raiders of the Sulu Sea".

Jarrold OngJarrold Ong
